GROOMING

What vaccinations do you require?

We require all dogs and cats to be up to date on the Rabies Vaccine. Please bring in a copy or email one to us before your pet’s 1st appointment.

What is all included in my dog’s grooming appointment?

Trimming of nails, paw trim, ear cleaning, and expression of anal glands are all included in your dog’s grooming. They will also receive 2 baths, a blow dry and a brush out. Depending on what type of service your pet is booked for, they many also receive a haircut, teeth brushing, and a Furminator service.

What does the process usually look like for grooming my dog?

First your dog starts with our dog bather and receives two baths. The dog bather then uses a special blow dry to remove the bulk of the water in your dog’s hair, they are then put in a kennel to finish the drying process. Once your dog is fully dried, they then make their way to the grooming table. Once the groomer completes the grooming process, they are then ready for pick up. We will give you a call to let you know you can come and pick up your dog.

Can I bring multiple pets in at once?

Yes, you can bring multiple pets in at a time. Just be mindful that they will not get started until their appointment time and will wait in their kennel until then.

Do you offer teeth brushing?

Yes, we do offer teeth brushing for an additional $10 charge to your dog’s grooming.

Do I have to make an appointment to get my dog’s nails trimmed?

All nail trims are walk-ins, so no appointment is needed. Groomers are typically here Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. We advise customers to give us call the day they come in, as we can let you know how long the groomers will be available on that day.

RETAIL

What is your return policy?

Customers have 14 days to return or exchange an item. After those 14 days, you have an additional 14 days for an exchange or store credit. Please bring in your receipt and any packing with the item you would like to return. Some restrictions do apply and this policy is subject to change. Please see a sales associate for any questions and updates.

I lost my gift card. What should I do?

If you have your original receipt, we can look up your gift card purchase and create a replacement for you.

Can I bring my dog into your stores?

We welcome all well-behaved and leashed dogs into our store. We prefer that you keep your flexi and extendable leashes at home. If you need to borrow a leash for your visit, we have these located at our store entrance for no charge. Pet owners are responsible for any damages their dog may cause.

Do you offer a rewards program?

We do offer a buy 12 get 1 free or a buy 10 get 1 free for all of our dry and raw foods for dogs and cats. We also have programs for certain brands of Freeze Dried foods, CBD products and raw bones. Programs will vary so please ask a sales associate for more details. In addition to food and supply rewards, we also offer a buy 5 nail trims, nail grinding or gland expression, and get 1 free. These programs are offered through Astro Rewards. Once enrolled you can download their app to keep up to date on your purchases, rewards and additional monthly specials and freebies. Ask a retail associate for any other questions.

Do you sell pets?

We do not sell pets, but we do have cats available for adoption through Cat’s Cradle Shelter. Anyone is able to come in to look at our cats during our store hours. You can even sign up to become a volunteer!

I have pet items I would like to donate. Do you accept them?

Absolutely! We accept cat donations for Cats Cradle Shelter and dog donations for 4 Luv of Dog Rescue. You can drop these off anytime during our store hours.

Do you have any events going on throughout the year?

Yes! We try to plan a few free and fun events for your pets every month. Check out our Facebook page for any upcoming events we have going on.

ADOPTION/VOLUNTEER

What is the process to adopt one of your cats?

Once you have fallen in love with an adoptable cat, the first step is to fill out an application. Applications can be filled out at our location or on Cat’s Cradle’s website. Once the form is complete you will then have an option to place a hold on the cat by paying a $20 fee. This is a non-refundable fee but if approved will be deducted from the adoption fee. We will then send this information to Cat’s Cradle Shelter, and they do the rest of the work. You should get a call from them within a day or two for an over the phone interview. If all goes well, you will be approved to adopt the cat! We will then finalize any additional paperwork, you will pay the adoption fee and will be on your way with your new family member.

Can I show up at anytime to play with the cats?

Please call ahead of time or make an appointment to socialize and play with the adoptable cats.  If you are new to volunteering with us or Cat’s Cradle you will need to fill out a volunteer form. This form is available at our location and can be completed the day you are volunteering.

How old do I have to be to volunteer?

You need to be 18 or older to be a volunteer. If you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or guardian present with you.

Are all the cats up to date on vaccinations?

All the cats that we have at our location are up to date on vaccinations, including the Rabies Vaccination. They are also spayed or neutered, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia.
